Louisa County Restaurant Week (LCRW) is going into its 4th year. Since its inception LCRW has highlighted local eateries and that give Louisa County its flavor and flare. This year we are please to highlight not just the Louisa County staples but also a brand new restaurant eager to make its name. We were able to meet with a few restaurant owners and allow them to tell their stories. Enjoy!
Tim's at Lake Anna Restaurant - 200 G Boardwalk Way, Mineral, VA 23117 (540) 894-5011

The Tim's Family of Restaurants is now celebrating it's 26th year of business!! The Lake Anna location has been open since 2012! Tim and his father, Vern Bauckman, ran Charlie Brown's in Lake Ridge decades ago and Tim grew up crabbing and waterskiing on the Potomac, so it was just a natural progression to follow the restaurant path...on the water...with crabs and seafood, of course!
Tim's has progressed up and down the Potomac, and Louisa (Lake Anna) seemed the perfect spot to move inland while still maintaining that water vibe :) Tim's has some of the best homemade crabcakes around, using Tim's grandmother's recipe. Our Killer Driller is our most popular drink, a top secret recipe rum punch. If you are visiting from out of town, you need to come for our unique crab shack atmosphere, the great lake view, refreshing cold beverages, and most importantly: the best and largest variety of hand cut, hand prepped, hand pattied, hand breaded, & homemade menu items around!
