Willow Brook Rd. (635) Bridge Closure 9/5-10/20
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has scheduled maintenance on the Willow Brook Rd. (635) bridge over Taylors Creek from September 5th through October 20th. The bridge will be closed and a 6-mile detour will be implemented.
VDOT is responsible for building, maintaining and operating the state's roads, bridges and tunnels. The agency has a robust bridge inspection and safety program that exceeds federal requirements, and inspects all of its bridges at least once every two years unless there are issues due to age, deterioration, bridge damage or other concerns.
