Interagency Council Info

In December 2011, the Louisa County Interagency Council began crafting Vision, Mission and Value statements to help guide the work carried out by its member organizations. The following statements were adopted by the Council in January/February 2012:

A community that partners to enrich lives

Mission

To foster partnerships, share information and resources, and collaborate to promote and develop community centered services

Values

  • Every person has skills and abilities
  • All people have dignity and worth
  • Willingness to work with partners
  • Inclusiveness
  • Effective communication
  • Respect

Meeting Time and Place

The Council meets on the second Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the Extension Meeting Room on the second floor of the County Administration Building.

Membership is open to all organizations and persons who support that Mission. Complete the LCIC Membership Application and return to Whitney Deane.
