Betty Queen Center
The Betty J. Queen Intergenerational Center is managed by Louisa County Parks and Recreation. The center is equipped with various-sized rooms available for rent for meetings and social events. Rental time MUST include set up and clean up times. Rooms include a set number of table and chairs with the room rental fee; addition tables and chairs are available for an additional fee.
This facility rental application must be completed and returned to Louisa County Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department at least two (2) weeks, but not more than six (6) months, before the date requested.
All rental applications and payment transactions for this facility rental are accepted at the Parks, Recreation & Tourism Office located at 522 Industrial Drive, Louisa, VA 23093 during normal business hours of Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you have any questions during normal business hours, please call us at 540 967-4420.
All rental transactions must be made with credit/debit card; no cash or check payments will be accepted. Card information will be kept on file until after your event; late leaving fee and/or clean up fee will automatically be charged to your card on file.
Non-Profit Organizations may rent the BQC Rooms for a half-price fee. This is contingent on the rental being paid for by Organization Credit Card and the request being submitted on Organization letterhead stationery signed by the head of the organization and meeting at least two of the Community-Based criteria as outlined in the rental form. The entire rental amount must be paid in full at the time of booking. There are no discounts available for Park Facility Pavilion reservations and/or Louisa County Aquatic Facility reservations.
LC Pride Members may rent the BQC Rooms for half-price fee providing they meet the LC Pride criteria. The entire amount must be paid in full at the time of booking. LC Pride Members are those employees whose employment position is 100% funded by the Louisa County Board of Supervisors. There are no discounts available for Park Facility Pavilion reservations and/or Louisa County Aquatic Facility reservations.
The commercial kitchen at the Betty Queen Center is NOT available for public use. A kitchenette is available for rent in the Craft Room.
