Project Summary
The applicants - Barbara & Joe Evers - submitted a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) application on August 17, 2023. The application states (in part, with additional details in the complete application):
We wish to host special events i.e. weddings, concerts, craft fairs, car shows etc. The max capacity will be 500 people (we had 450 people on June 2, 2023, the first Friday concert without any issues)
We would like to host no more than 15 weddings/year with a max capacity of 120 and no more than 30 outside events which would include amplified music. All events will be done by 9:45pm at night.
I have spoken with Mr. C Weaver as well as Mr. T Williams, on July 27, 2023, and they both mentioned they have no objection to what we are purposing.
This request will not be detrimental in any way because we are far removed for our neighbors, see attached for details. We already have ample parking in place as well as a paved commercial driveway. We have a 2nd driveway, not used for the general public, to aid if needed for emergency use....I have spoken with Capt T Luck and he is aware of this driveway and says it is fine to be used as such. I have attached his email as well. We have spoken with neighbors who would be impacted by this permit and they are OK with us moving forward. We will have an annual meeting with the neighbors to address any issues they may have and to come up with a mutual understanding.
There are no known permits in place and we are zoned A-1 agricultural.
