The Betty J. Queen Intergenerational Center is managed by Louisa County Parks and Recreation. The center is equipped with various-sized rooms available for rent for meetings and social events. Learn more about the center.

Fitness Trail
This walking trail that wraps around the playground area, Health Department, aquatic facility and the back of the Betty Queen Center measures a little less than a mile and is available for all Louisa citizens.

Thomas Jefferson Elementary School Recreation Area
Enjoy four basketball courts (two eight foot goals and two 10 foot goals) and four pickleball courts, as well as some unique playground equipment that can be used whenever school is not in session. Learn more about the area.

Use of Outdoor Fields at Louisa Public Schools
Louisa Parks, Recreation & Tourism schedules use of outdoor fields on school property on weekdays after 6:00 p.m. and on weekends (when school activities are not scheduled). If fields are not being used by our department, they may be available to other organizations who qualify. Regardless of your affiliation, ALL OUTDOOR FIELD USAGE MUST BE SCHEDULED THROUGH LCPRT. Contact our office at (540) 967-4420 for field usage information. Any organization interested in reserving INDOOR facilities at the elementary schools, or at Louisa County Middle School must contact the principal of that school. Reservations of Louisa County High School must be approved by the LCHS Athletic Director.
