All of Louisa County's designated growth areas are well-suited locations for the hospitality industry. Four of the growth areas are immediately adjacent to I-64, three growth areas are in or immediately adjacent to towns, and the final growth area is the popular tourist destination of Lake Anna.

    Centrally located in the County, the Town of Louisa is the County seat.

    The Town of Mineral is centrally located in Louisa County and directly east of the Town of Louisa.

    Located in the southwest corner of Louisa County, Interstate 64 is immediately adjacent, making market access easy.

    Located in the southwest area of Louisa County, Interstate 64 is immediately adjacent, making market access easy.


  1. Growth Area 5: Gordonsville

    Growth Area 5: Gordonsville

    Located in the northwest corner of the County, the Gordonsville Growth Area abuts the Town of Gordonsville in neighboring Orange County.

    The Shannon Hill Growth Area is located nearly halfway along interstate 64 on the County’s southern boundary.
