Recycling Features
Please be aware of the new recycling features at our sites. Recycling is now made simple. For your Cardboard recycling, please utilize our new receptacles marked "Cardboard Only", and for all other recyclable material we use a single "Co-mingled" receptacle marked "Newspaper, Cans, Plastic, Glass". Attendants are on duty at each site to assist you. Please ask if you have any questions or concerns.Accepted Recycling Items
Aluminum & Tin Cans
Drink cans, soup, tuna, etc. are acceptable. Please clean cans thoroughly. Please dump cans from bags or containers into the co-mingled receptacle. Do not put bags, boxes or other containers in the recycling bins. No large or bulky metal items accepted.Cardboard
Cardboard Boxes, cereal boxes, etc. are acceptable. Please keep all cardboard clean and dry. Removal of staples, tape and labels is not necessary. Please do not tie together. No bags pr packaging materials. No paper, Styrofoam, peanuts, bubble wrap, etc. allowed in the recycling bins. Boxes must be broken down and flattened.Glass
Clear, green, brown glass jars and bottles are acceptable. Please empty and rinse all containers. Removal of tops and labels is not necessary. Sorting the containers by colors is not necessary. Window glass, mirrors, dishes, vases, ceramics, pottery, drinking glasses, etc. cannot be accepted. Place in the co-mingled receptacle.Mixed Paper
Newspaper, office paper, magazines, and computer paper are acceptable.Please keep all paper clean and dry. Please do not tie together. No phone books, catalogs, cardboard or packaging accepted. No plastic bags, string, rope, wire or cord allowed in the recycling bins.Plastics - HDPE 1 & 22, PET 1 & 2
Plastic bottles, jugs, soda bottles, water bottles and pill bottles are acceptable. Please clean plastics thoroughly and remove lids as lids are not recyclable. No HDPE or PET 3 or greater. Such as yogurt, diary tubs, bags, Styrofoam, plastic food trays or prescription vials.
Other Accepted Items
Used Motor Oil
Transmission fluid and hydraulic oil is acceptable. Please carefully empty containers into the used motor oil tank. No cooking oil, antifreeze, gasoline, water, contaminated oil or other liquids accepted.

- No commercial or business-related waste of any kind
- Paint or other fluids and chemicals
- Tires
- Yard waste
Landfill Only Items
- Anti-freeze
- Appliances
- Batteries
- Brush
- Furniture
- Mulch
- Paving debris (six inches thick, no steel)
- Scrap metal
- Tires
- Usable soil
- Wood
All commercial or business-related waste must be taken to the landfill. No exceptions.
This list is not intended to be a complete list, items may not be accepted at the discretion of the onsite attendant. If you are unsure, please ask the attendant so that waste can be properly disposed.
